Seirr, Tarr![]()
![]() From the Expanded UniverseTarr Seirr was a young Jedi Knight who fought in the Clone Wars. Growing up in the Jedi order, Tarr idolized Ki-Adi-Mundi, the famous Cerean Jedi who served as watchman for his home system for decades. When the growing Separatist crisis that precipitated the Clone Wars occupied the attentions of the Jedi Council, Ki-Adi-Mundi relinquished his position as watchman to Seirr.Seirr took the role very seriously. Cerea was hesitant to officially join the Republic, and Seirr did not wish for his homeworld to be drawn into the Separatist movement. He helped advise the ruling Cerean government during this uncertain time. With the outbreak of the Clone Wars, many scattered Jedi watchmen were reassigned to battlefront positions, leaving remote worlds exposed to other dangers. With quiet regret, Seirr left Cerea to do battle against the Confederacy, though he remembered that commitment to the Jedi Code precluded such notions of attachment to even his homeworld. Seirr fought alongside Ki-Adi-Mundi during the Clone Wars. He was part of an elite taskforce sent to destroy a secret droid foundry on Hypori. The mission was disastrous, as the Republic forces were blasted out of the sky before they could even land. Stranded on the planet's surface, Seirr as his fellow Jedi holed up in the wreckage of their cruisers. It was General Grievous himself who commanded the Separatist droids on Hypori. He personally entered into hand-to-hand combat with the trapped Jedi. Seirr did not walk away from the engagement. Adding to the tragedy, months into the Clone Wars, unprotected Cerea became a battleground as Republic and Separatist forces fought to claim its allegiance. Much of the serene wilderness was despoiled in the fighting, and many Cereans were killed. Keywords: Databank - Expanded Universe Filed under: Vault, Character
