    Kalikori

A Kalikori was a treasured artifact passed down through Twi’lek families. Each parent added to its artwork to include themselves in the family legacy, passing the heirloom down to their children. When the Empire occupied Ryloth, Grand Admiral Thrawn took possession of the Syndulla family’s Kalikori.

    Hera Syndulla

Once the heart of the Ghost crew during the age of the Empire, Hera Syndulla continues to serve as the captain of her ship while fighting for freedom from oppression as a general in the New Republic during an era of reconstruction. A gifted pilot with a knack for dogfighting with TIE fighters and a steadfast leader who was instrumental in leading the successful Lothal rebellion, Syndulla is now a mother, veteran, and general.

    Cham Syndulla

The freedom fighter Cham Syndulla came to prominence on Ryloth during the Clone Wars, after the Separatists invaded his homeworld. A dedicated fighter with no tolerance for corruption or dishonesty, Syndulla forged an alliance with Mace Windu that brought liberty to his fellow Twi'leks. Syndulla resisted the Empire after its rise to power, hatching a plot to ambush Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader on Ryloth. Although he hoped his sacrifices would mean his daughter, Hera, wouldn't have to spend her life fighting, the young woman would grow up to continue his campaign to undermine Imperial power through the time of the Galactic Civil War.

    Grand Admiral Thrawn

The last unaccounted for Grand Admiral of the Imperial Navy, Thrawn is a brilliant strategist as ruthless as he is cunning. When the Empire needed a strong commander to dismantle the rebellion on Lothal, they called upon Thrawn, known for studying his enemies — including their art and culture — to gain tactical advantages often overlooked by his peers. Exiled into parts unknown with the Jedi and rebel Ezra Bridger during the Battle of Lothal, should he return to the galaxy, Thrawn has the potential to plunge the New Republic into war once again.

    Ryloth

Ryloth is the principal planet in the Ryloth system located in the Outer Rim near Tatooine. It is home to the Twi'leks, a humanoid species with two large, fleshy head-tails growing from their skulls. The Twi'leks call these prehensile appendages lekku and can communicate through subtle lekku gestures, although they also speak Twi'leki. During the Clone Wars, scheming Separatist warlords blockaded and invaded Ryloth, hoping to steal its riches. But after the war, dreams of a free Ryloth evaporated under the iron fist of Imperial occupation.

    Twi'lek

Twi'leks are tall, thin humanoids with skin pigment that spans a rainbow of colors. Their most distinctive feature is a pair of shapely prehensile tentacles that grow from the base of their skulls. Few things are as graceful as a female Twi'lek in motion. This beautiful image has forever doomed generations of young Twi'leks into servitude, as the wealthy and corrupt have taken to brandishing Twi'leks as badges of prestige. In the waning years of the Republic, the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth was represented in the Galactic Senate by the corpulent blue-skinned politician Orn Free Taa. Even a politician of high office was not above flaunting a pair of lovely Twi'lek aides as a sign of influence and wealth.

    Syndulla Residence

The home of the Syndullas, including war hero Cham Syndulla and rebel Hera Syndulla, was a beautiful, towering structure that seemingly rose from the plains of the Tann province on Ryloth. During the Empire’s occupation of the planet, Captain Slavin turned the home into an Imperial headquarters. When Hera attempted to recover her family’s Kalikori, a precious Twi’lek heirloom, from the premises, she and fellow rebel Ezra Bridger were captured. Cham agreed to turn himself over in exchange for her daughter and Ezra; ever the freedom fighter, Hera used the prisoner exchange as an opportunity to destroy her own home -- striking at the Empire and earning a rebel victory.
