In a High Republic-era facility on Koboh, a badly injured Dagan Gera has been preserved for centuries in a bacta tank. Through the Force, Dagan implores Jedi Cal Kestis to free him. But once awakened, Dagan seeks revenge against the Jedi Order. Fueled by anger and an obsession to return to the hidden planet of Tanalorr, Dagan bleeds his kyber crystal, turning the lightsaber blade red, and he attacks the Jedi who freed him.
