Aron Peacebringer is a heroic and legendary Calian from the planet Shiva IV. Ever since he was 12, Aron has been living an adventure-filled life of combat and wars, as is the way of his war-like people. But he saw an alternative. Aron Peacebringer was weary of the bloodshed and violence between his people, the Calians, and the Twelve Tribes of the T'Syriél. When he ascended the political ladder of the Calian Confederacy and was named Warlord, Peacebringer approached the T'Syriél Demarch, Kéral Longknife with the Concordat of Peace. The two signed, bringing a newfound peace to the world.

A year later, the Empire expressed interest in the powerful warriors of the Calian Confederacy. Imperial agents, led by General Sk'ar, planned to subjugate Shiva IV, and force its warrior populace into Imperial military service. Rebel agent Princess Leia Organa crash-landed on Shiva IV while investigating the increased Imperial presence in the area. Stranded on Shiva IV, Leia soon met Aron Peacebringer. Despite being married, and having a number of children with his own beautiful wife, Alisande, Aron fell in love with Organa. Though Leia was strongly attracted to Aron, she carefully tried to keep her feelings in check. When Sk'ar led the attack on the Calian city of Illÿriaqum, both Leia and Peacebringer defeated the Imperials.

Aron Peacebringer is a Calian human male, with the characteristic tanned red skin of his people. He has dark, black hair and dark colored eyes. He has a very muscular build, and is a superb fighter, who lapses into the deadly Calian battle madness when provoked.

Behind the Scenes

The pulp-style heroics of Aron Peacebringer were penned by famed X-Men scribe Chris Claremont in a two-part story in issues #53-54 of the Marvel Comics Star Wars run.
