From the Movies
Towed into combat by grumpy falumpasets are organically grown Gungan battle wagons. These primitive vehicles serve to resupply Gungan artillery pieces, like their powerful catapults. In the thick of combat, General Jar Jar Binks accidentally opened the cargo ramp of a fully loaded battle wagon, spilling huge Gungan boomers (or boomas) onto the battlefield.
From the Expanded Universe
Gungan battle wagons are almost all wheel -- a design choice made to minimize jolts when traveling over uneven terrain. Gungans employ two varieties of battle wagon -- one designed to haul giant boomer ammunition, and another for moving catapult emplacements into battle.
Behind the Scenes
The falumpaset animal seen hauling the battle wagon is the same type of four-legged beast of burden that Boss Nass rides in the final victory parade in
The Phantom Menace.
