This diplomatic transport was used by Padmé Amidala during her role as Senator of Naboo. On the day of the important Military Creation Act vote, the Naboo Royal Cruiser soared through the dawn mists of Coruscant one last time.

Upon landing at its assigned pad, the craft exploded, killing seven of its passengers, including Cordé, Senator Amidala's handmaiden and decoy. The explosion was the work of a bounty hunter named Zam Wesell, who was ultimately carrying out the will of Nute Gunray, Viceroy of the Trade Federation.
