This is the first time a display of props from the entire Star Wars saga will be made available for public viewing in Chile, hosted at the Espacio Kennedy (Bedise Parque Arauco) from March 6th though May 31st. Star Wars: The Exhibition Chile is made possible through combined efforts of Lucasfilm Ltd. and Admirável Entertainment, who is handling the design and production of the show through RGB Entertainment and TVN Eventos.
In all, over 200 items from the Lucasfilm Archives are on display, including life-size starships and vehicles, models, mniatures, costumes, puppets, droids and artwork. A hangar featuring Anakin Skywalker's full size Jedi starfighter from Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith begins the exhibition, and other highlights include Anakin's Podracer from The Phantom Menace, his airspeeder from Attack of the Clones, and an Imperial speeder bike from Return of the Jedi.
Other historic Star Wars relics include Darth Vader's costume and surgical table, C-3PO and R2-D2, and classic visual effects models for the X-wing, Millennium Falcon, Star Destroyer, and Imperial AT-AT walkers.
The exhibition also includes an educational project designed for junior high and high school students.
