Special "Atom TV" Episode Features the George Lucas 2008 Selects Winner, "Padmé"
Comedy Central is pulling out the lightsaber and celebrating all things Star Wars in a special episode of "Atom TV." Since 2000, Atom.com and Lucasfilm Ltd. have teamed up for the Stars Wars Fan Movie Challenge, finding and honoring the best Star Wars-related shorts at Atom's official fan movie website and here at StarWars.com. This special episode of "Atom TV" will premiere on Comedy Central on Monday night, October 6 at 2:00 a.m., and repeat three times during the following week. Both Comedy Central and Atom.com (formerly AtomFilms) are divisions of MTV Networks, a unit of Viacom.
"Atom TV" is a weekly comedy show featuring a selection of random and hilarious web videos, each one of them developed or handpicked by Comedy Central and Atom. This Star Wars episode features a clip of George Lucas introducing the 2008 competition's winner, a Juno spoof called "Padmé" along with several past winners and finalists.

- Montage of films, including: "Jar Jar's Walking Papers," an animated short where George Lucas decides to terminate the character in a most unusual way (Best Animation Winner, 2002); "Pink 5," in which a Valley girl tries to help win the war for the Rebel Alliance (George Lucas Selects Winner, 2003); and "Silent But Deadly," about stormtroopers in the "real" world. (Finalist, 2002).
