Actor Mark Hamill, whose portrayal of Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars Saga has captured the imagination of generations of fans, will appear at Star Wars Celebration Europe, the biggest Star Wars party Europe has ever seen, to be held 13-15 July at ExCeL London.

Hamill, whose acting career has encompassed scores of appearances in movies and television shows as well as critically acclaimed appearances on Broadway, will help mark the 30th anniversary of the Star Wars Saga during the first official Star Wars event to be held outside of the U.S.

"This is shaping up to be one of the most extraordinary Celebrations we've ever had," said Steve Sansweet, head of fan relations for Lucasfilm Ltd. "We couldn't be more pleased that Mark will help us celebrate this milestone in Star Wars history, joining other Star Wars celebrities like Ian McDiarmid, Billy Dee Williams and Anthony Daniels. Celebration Europe will also include special previews of new Star Wars entertainment, plus events for the entire family to enjoy together, which we hope will make it an unforgettable weekend for fans of all ages."

Hamill will sign autographs in the Celebration Europe Autograph Hall on Friday and Saturday only. Due to the expected high demand, a virtual queuing system will be implemented to keep lines to a minimum, but availability and time will be limited.
