Aside from the candy, dressing up in costumes is the best part of Halloween. Why not let your Star Wars action figures in on the fun? Find out how to make a ghost costume, Princess Leia buns, a trick-or-treat bag and even a couple of vintage Star Wars costumes for your toys.

What You Need:

  • Colored felt
  • Fabric glue
  • Chenille stems/Pipe cleaners
  • Glitter
  • Thread and sewing needle
  • Brown yarn
  • Brown pom-poms
  • Embroidery thread
  • Scissors

Vintage Star Wars Costumes:
Star Wars Dress
C-3PO

Instructions:

Princess Leia buns:

1. For the Princess Leia buns, all you need is two brown pom-poms, brown yarn, brown felt and a piece of chenille stem.

2. Glue the brown yarn on each pom-pom in a spiral pattern.

3. Bend a small piece of chenille stem and glue one pom-pom on each end. Then glue a small felt square over each end of the stem to hide it. Let dry then put on your action figure.

Ghost R2-D2 Costume:

1. For the ghost costume, you need a piece of white felt, googley eyes, glue, sewing needle and thread.

2. Cut a ghost shape from the felt and sew them together except for the bottom part of the ghost. Turn inside out and glue googley eyes on it. Let dry and put on R2-D2.

Vintage Star Wars Costumes:

1. Print out the C-3PO costume and the Star Wars Dress. Cut them out and place on your action figures. Secure the costumes by using embroidery thread as belts.

Trick-Or-Treat Bag

1. For this bag you'll need colored felt, a sewing needle and thread, 2 pieces of chenille stem and glitter to decorate.

2. Cut out in a piece of colored felt this shape. Fold up the sides to look like a bag and sew the sides.

2. Glue two pieces of bent chenille to each side of the bag for the handles.

Now your action figures are ready to trick-or-treat!
