Kellogg Canada will be helping Canadian
Star Wars fans prepare for
Attack of the Clones with limited edition Episode II interactive premiums in specially marked boxes of cereal and a new
Kellogg's Star Wars cereal.
"Kellogg's partnership with the Star Wars: Episode II movie is truly a multi-level campaign that offers consumers numerous ways to discover the Star Wars Saga connection," says Mark Childs, Vice President Marketing at Kellogg Canada. "We've not only developed collectable premiums that kids, Star Wars fans and collectors are going to jump at, but for the second time, we've also created a great tasting new cereal themed around a Star Wars movie."
There are six different Star Wars Saga Rubik's Cube Puzzles to collect free inside specially marked boxes of Kellogg's Frosted Flakes, Kellogg's Froot Loops, Kellogg's Corn Pops, Kellogg's Raisin Bran, and Kellogg's Rice Krispies. Each Cube illustrates an important connection between two characters in the Star Wars Saga and allows kids to discover more about the epic story (for example Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader or Padmé Amidala/Princess Leia).
In the tradition of the 1984 Kellogg's C-3PO's cereal, look for Kellogg's Star Wars limited-edition cereal boxes on-shelves in May while supplies last. The cereal is made up of a mix of purple and orange oat stars with clone trooper helmet-shaped cookies.
The Kellogg's Star Wars cereal packaging comes with a Star Wars game on a third on-pack panel and a unique magazine/poster-in-one featuring a full-sized movie poster on one side and a synopsis of the Star Wars saga on the back.
For a limited time only, Kellogg Canada is also offering a life-sized clone trooper helmet which will be packaged with two boxes of the new Kellogg's Star Wars cereal, available exclusively at Loblaw's stores across the country for $19.99.
