Episode III Digital Cinema List
May 18, 2005

Rave reviews and huge fan anticipation for Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith have set the stage for Twentieth Century Fox and Lucasfilm Ltd. to widely distribute the movie in theaters nationwide to ensure that moviegoers have more opportunities than ever to see Star Wars on its opening weekend. On May 19, Revenge of the Sith will be available in about 3,700 locations -- more locations than any previous Star Wars movie. Many locations include multiplexes that will play Revenge of the Sith in as many as five auditoriums, giving moviegoers all kinds of opportunities to get in on opening weekend.

To best see the movie as George Lucas intended it, moviegoers are encouraged to seek out a digital screening of Revenge of the Sith. The cutting edge digital moviemaking techniques used in Episode III look their sharpest and most vivid at theaters that employ digital projection. Here is a list of theaters in North America showing the film digitally.
