BD-3000 luxury droids were used across the galaxy as a luxury attendant during the era of the Galactic Republic. During the Clone Wars, Senator Amidala used one as a decoy to help stave off an assassination attempt by Aurra Sing on the planet Alderaan. Other senators and dignitaries used them as everything from escorts to office aides. They have a chromatic complexion and come in the form of shapely humanoid females.
