Vanity Fair, which hits newsstands soon, showcases exclusive photography from the set of Episode II
Attack of the Clones.
On the cover of this special issue are the forbidden lovers Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) and Padmé Amidala (Natalie Portman). The magazine features a 12-page portfolio of stunning photos by the renowned Annie Leibovitz. The photographer captures such heroes and villains as Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson), Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Jango Fett (Temuera Morrison).
In an exclusive interview, David Kamp talks to George Lucas, Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen about the developing saga, and the romance between Padmé and Anakin, which Lucas describes as "a love story in the Star Wars tradition."
