While Revenge of the Sith fever continues to sweep across Japan, theater-goers are discovering scores of exclusive collectibles available in the theater lobbies throughout the land. Manufactured by Toho, Star Wars cell phone straps, pens, posters, t-shirts, pin sets, and more are being snatched up by fans eager to take home a piece of the Sith experience.

In the United States and other countries, fans usually don't see the same level of Star Wars merchandising that they would in a Japanese movie theater. Many domestic and international theaters showing Star Wars features have traditionally been spare in the way of movie tie-in merchandise and promotions, in part to keep the movie-going experience clear and clutter-free.

In Japan, however, theater merchandising is a long-held tradition, and generally accepted to be part of the cinematic experience.
