News of the Aldhani heist reaches Coruscant, prompting the Imperial Security Bureau to begin investigations led by Dedra Meero (Denise Gough). But cracks are beginning to form in the rebel ranks. Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly) is troubled by Luthen Rael’s (Stellan Skarsgård) boldness in plotting an outright theft against the Empire and Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) is labeled as a liability to be eliminated. Meanwhile, back on Ferrix, Cassian says goodbye to Bix Caleen (Adria Arjona) and unsuccessfully tries to persuade his mother, Maarva Andor (Fiona Shaw), to leave the family home and start a new life offworld. Ironically, Maarva is inspired by the Aldhani plot, unaware of her son’s part in the robbery. But Cassian’s luck soon runs out when he’s nabbed by a KX droid on Niamos and sentenced to six years in Imperial lockup on a trumped-up charge of loitering.
