"Hunt on Celsor 3" Episode Guide | Star Wars Resistance

Tensions are growing on the Colossus as food resources have essentially run out. Unable to serve her patrons, Aunt Z decides to leave, and Kaz is shocked when Neeku seems to agree. But Kragan sees an opportunity in the challenges facing Captain Doza...

Kaz and Torra try to convince Aunt Z not to go. Finally, she says that there's one way they can get food: the jakoosk creature, recently encountered by the Aces above the ice moon Celsor 3, contains enough meat to feed the ship for a long time. But who could catch it? Kragan and his crew quickly enter the cantina, saying that they will get the job done.

Torra informs her father of developments. Despite his initial protests, she and Kaz will accompany the pirates as they try to capture the jakoosk.

They go to Celsor 3's surface, and the giant beast emerges. Kragan commands all ships to open fire, and ignores Kaz's warnings that the jakoosk's hide is too tough for their weapons. After losing two ships, he finally commands a retreat...

...but the jakoosk is angry. It follows Kragan's ship, and only Kaz and Torra's well-placed blasts on its underbelly drive the beast away.

Back at Aunt Z's, Kragan blames the Aces for his failure. Aunt Z has had enough, and determines to leave that night. Later, Torra and Kaz go to see Captain Doza, who seems distressed with recent developments and his inability to solve the Colossus's problems.

Kaz and Torra (with a little help from Buggles) try to figure out how to capture the jakoosk. Kaz remembers that Tam had been working on a cannon for the Fireball, but never installed it; the weapon should be powerful enough to take down the giant creature if they can hit its weak spot: the underside.

Out in space, Kaz and CB-23 find that they have a stowaway: Buggles! When they land on the ice moon, Kaz tries to hide Torra's pet, but it's no use. The lively creature jumps out of the cockpit and frolics off.

Torra gives chase, but soon finds that the ground is not entirely stable: The icy surface begins to crack and rise as the jakoosk flies upward!

Two of Kragan's goons who'd crashed during the initial attempt to secure the beast abscond with Kaz and Torra's ships! But Kaz and Torra still have the cannon...

...until the jakoosk crushes its battery with its mighty tail. Meanwhile, Torra spots Buggles atop an ice spire. With time running out before the creature snags Torra's pet, Kaz plugs the cannon into CB-23 -- and delivers a direct hit to the jakoosk's weak spot! "I guess you can say the jakoosk got jacooked," Kaz says.

On the Colossus, smiles abound as everyone feasts on the food delivered by Kaz and Torra. Aunt Z has decided to stay, and Captain Doza promises that he will never forget his responsibilty to the citizenry. Suddenly, a 360-degree mural illuminates, painted to look like the Castilon sky. It comes courtesy of Neeku. "I would never leave," he says. "The Colossus is my home, and you are all my family."
