    Jedi Youngling

Prior to being chosen as Padawan Learners, children being trained in the force spent time as Jedi Younglings. They were divided into ten clans of up to twenty younglings and trained in the Jedi arts. One of their rites of passage was “The Gathering,”which was the harvesting of kyber crystals for their lightsabers on the remote world of Ilum. The Jedi Younglings in the Jedi Temple during Order 66 were brutally slain by Darth Vader.

    Yoda

Yoda was a legendary Jedi Master and stronger than most in his connection with the Force. Small in size but wise and powerful, he trained Jedi for over 800 years, playing integral roles in the Clone Wars, the instruction of Luke Skywalker, and unlocking the path to immortality.

    Coruscant

Coruscant is the vibrant heart and capital of the galaxy during the age of the Empire, featuring a diverse mix of cultures and citizens spread over hundreds of levels. Once the home of the main Jedi Temple -- the central hub of Jedi training and learning for over a thousand generations and the repository of the Jedi Archives -- these traditions ended when the planet bore witness to Order 66.

    Jedi Temple

Instantly recognizable by its distinctive crown of five spires, the Jedi Temple was the home of the Jedi Order on Coruscant. Part school and part monastery, the Jedi Temple was the central hub for all Jedi activities in the galaxy. When Supreme Chancellor Palpatine enacted Order 66, clone troops led by the newly risen Darth Vader attacked the temple, massacring its inhabitants and leaving the structure badly damaged. With the Empire triumphant, the Jedi Temple’s spires still rose into the Coruscant skies. But the building was now the Imperial Palace, home to the Sith Lord who had destroyed the Jedi.

    Bear Clan

The Bear Clan was a class of Jedi Younglings all aged between four and eight that trained together in the years before and into the start of the Clone Wars. At one point, Obi-Wan Kenobi interrupted one of their lightsaber training sessions with Master Yoda and asked for their help in finding Obi-Wan’s missing planet of Kamino. Members of the Mighty Bear Clan included Chian, Jempa, Mari Amithest, Liam, and Ahsla.

    Gungi

Once a rare example of a Wookiee in the Jedi Order, Gungi is also among the few to survive Order 66. As a youngling, Gungi was temperamental and expressive. During the time of the Clone Wars, he needed to learn to slow down his impulsive ways to complete the ancient rite of passage known as The Gathering. Once the Empire took hold, Gungi survived in hiding until he was captured by members of the Axis Vanguard. Luckily, Omega and the rest of Clone Force 99 found him and returned Gungi to his homeworld of Kashyyyk.

  • Professor Huyang

    Professor Huyang

An ancient droid, but still quick of mind, Huyang oversaw the construction of lightsabers in the Jedi Order for centuries. After the fall of the Republic and the Jedi, his databanks remain a repository of ancient Jedi lore, including an exacting record of every lightsaber constructed under his supervision. A storied architect and professor, during the Clone Wars Huyang was based out of the training vessel Crucible, where he guided younglings in the art of saber construction as part of their journey to become Padawans. He continues to be operational after the end of the Jedi Order, surviving through the rise and fall of the Empire, to see the dawn of the New Republic.
