Topps Galaxy Sketch Cards from Katie Cook

The tradition of presenting diverse artist interpretations of the Star Wars universe continues in fine form as Topps releases all-new Star Wars Galaxy IV series, now available. As part of the series, official Star Wars artists show their talents in one-of-a-kind sketch cards depicting characters from the saga as well as the new TV series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Here's a look at some of the new cards completed by Star Wars artist Katie Cook.

"The best thing about drawing these cards is that I'm drawing Star Wars!" Cook says. "I love the Star Wars universe, so it's a thrill to spend my time drawing characters and scenes from one of my favorite worlds. I had so much fun doing these cards. I only did a few cards for the set and I've already gotten such a huge response to them. I try to have fun with every card I draw and these cards are some of my favorites that I've done yet."

Cook loves drawing Wookiees and wampas equally. "I really love drawing Chewie," Cook says. "Who isn't a Chewbacca fan? He's so much fun to stylize and just have fun drawing. My favorite from this latest card set is sneaking in a wampa saying 'nom nom nom' -- it's a nod to both my love of cute, kitty related things."

Star Wars Galaxy IV are already available primarily in hobby and comic shops.
