Here's a look at some of the new cards completed by Star Wars artist Cat Staggs.
Out of all the cards, the original trilogy characters remain her favorite to draw. "I had two favorites," Staggs reveals. "The first was Luke losing his hand. It just fell into place. The second was Chewie working on the Falcon. It is a scene I have wanted to do for a while. I want to flesh it out more into a large piece. It is one of the more endearing cards for me."
Staggs also explains why collectors might be seeing red in their collections. "The red cards are exclusive to Target stores, so we were asked to render them in red," Staggs explains. "I chose to feature all dark side characters on the target cards. It just felt like the right thing to do."
"I have been a fan of these cards since the beginning," Staggs says. "It was one of the few collections I ever hunted down to collect as an adult. I am a huge fan of the artists that have made these sets great and to be included in this set now is surreal. I am still pinching myself that my artwork was included."
Star Wars Galaxy IV are already available primarily in hobby and comic shops.
