First Look: Rogue Leaders: The Story of LucasArts

For more than 25 years, LucasArts has produced some of the greatest video games ever. Chronicle Books celebrates that legacy with Rogue Leaders: The Story of LucasArts. New and previously unpublished interviews reveal LucasArts' key milestones, while more than 300 pieces of concept art -- many of it never before published -- showcases the inspirational artistic talent behind the classics.

Explore such storied favorites as Ballblazer, Maniac Mansion and The Secret of Monkey Island. Revisit legendary titles like Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max Hit the Road, Full Throttle and Grim Fandango. Rogue Leaders: The Story of LucasArts includes concept art from more than 10 unpublished LucasArts games, a script and storyboard excerpt from Star Wars: Rebel Assault II, the original design document for Rescue on Fractalus! and all sorts of never-before-seen gems from the Lucasfilm Archives.

Rogue Leaders: The Story of LucasArts, is written by Rob Smith with a foreword by George Lucas. It is due out in November from Chronicle Books. It will feature a lenticular cover with four images: Darth Vader, Guybrush Treepwood, LEGO Indy, and the dreaded Purple Tentacle.
