Steps 1-4
1. You will need the following tools: a ruler, a paperclip or a ballpoint pen that has run out of ink, glue, scissors, three pieces of heavy cardstock, string or elastic (to keep the mask on), and things to color with.
2. Print out the all the pieces below for the mask on heavy paper, like cardstock or construction paper:

3. Using a ruler as a guide, take the rounded end of a paper clip (or a ballpoint pen that has run out of ink) and press along the black dotted line on the center of the Darth Vader's head. Do this to all of the black dotted lines.
4. Carefully cut out all the pieces following the solid, black lines.

Steps 5-8
5. With the help of an adult take little sharp scissors and poke though the paper inside the eye of the mask.
6. Next, cut out the eye using the little scissors following the solid black line. Repeat for all the eye areas.
7. These are all the pieces cut out completely.
8. Now take Darth Vader's head and fold along the black dotted line towards you. Crease well and unfold. Set aside.

Steps 9-12
9. Take the triangular piece. Fold along the center black dotted line away from you. Crease well and unfold.
10. Now fold the left tab along the black dotted line towards you. Crease well and unfold.
11. Now fold the right tab along the black dotted line towards you. Crease well and unfold. Set the piece aside.
12. Take Darth Vader's mouthpiece. Fold along the center black dotted line away from you. Crease well and unfold.

Steps 13-16
13. Take the upper right corner of the mouthpiece and fold along the black dotted line away from you. Crease well. Do not unfold.
14. While the upper right corner is still folded, take the right side of the piece and fold it along the black dotted line away from you. Crease well and unfold completely.
15. Now take the upper right corner tab and start to fold it towards you. As you do this, push the lower triangle area up into the corner tab.
16. Fold completely, crease well, and unfold.

Steps 17-20
17. Take the upper left corner of the mouthpiece and fold along the black dotted line away from you. Crease well. Do not unfold.
18. While the upper left corner is still folded, take the right side of the piece and fold it along the black dotted line away from you. Crease well and unfold completely.
19. Now take the upper left corner tab and start to fold it towards you. As you do this, push the lower triangle area up into the corner tab.
20. Fold completely, crease well, and unfold. Set the piece aside.

Steps 21-24
21. Now take Anakin's head (this piece has the left side of his face and the right side is grey). Fold back the left tab. Unfold.
22. Now fold back the right tab. Unfold.
23. Put glue in the "Glue Inside Grey Area."
24. Take Darth Vader's head and line up the right side with the grey side of Anakin's head. Make sure the eyes line up and the outer rims do too. Press firmly and let dry.

Steps 25-28
25. Once Darth Vader's head is completely dry, fold this piece over (like a page in a book) to the right. This will reveal the left side of Anakin's head. Place glue on the backside of Darth Vader's head (the blank side facing you).
26. Take the right side of Anakin's head and line up on the backside of Darth Vader's head. Make sure the eyes line up and the outer rims do too. Press firmly and let dry.
27. Flip the whole mask over. Put a thin strip of glue on the end of the right tab.
28. Fold the tab towards you and press firmly on the mask. Let dry.

Steps 29-32
29. Now put a thin strip of glue on the end of the left tab.
30. Fold the tab towards you and press firmly on the mask. Let dry.
31. Flip the mask back over and fold the right side of Anakin's face to the left to reveal Darth Vader's head. Place glue inside the grey shape marked "Glue Here A."
32. The triangular piece and line up the left tab with the grey shape marked "Glue Here A." Press firmly and let dry.

Steps 33-36
33. Now put glue on the inside of the grey shape marked "Glue Here B."
34. Line up the right tab of the triangular piece with the grey shape marked "Glue Here B." Press firmly and let dry.
35. Now place glue in the grey shape marked "Glue Here C."
36. Take Darth Vader's mouthpiece, line up the upper left tab with the grey area marked "Glue Here C." Press firmly and let dry.

Steps 37-40
37. Place glue inside the grey shape marked "Glue Here D." Line up the upper right corner with the grey shape marked "Glue Here D." Press firmly and let dry.
38. Once Darth Vader's head is dry, start closing his side of the mask. As you do this, place your thumbs under the triangle piece and help push it up as you close. This will ensure this piece will open properly. And open.
39. Take a hole puncher or have an adult puncture a hole in the circle on the right side of Darth Vader's head.
40. Take a hole puncher or have an adult puncture a hole in the circle on the left side of Anakin's head.

Steps 41-44
41. Now take your string through the hole on the right side of Darth Vader's head and tie a knot. Fold over to reveal Anakin's head.
42. Now take your string through the hole on the left side of Anakin's head and tie a knot.
43. Take the tab on the right side of Anakin's head and fold it behind the mask. Flip the mask over. You now see that the tabs behind the mask are for this side tab. Slide the side tab under the tab marked "F." This will keep Anakin's face open. If you want Darth Vader's face open, you just gently pull the side tab out, fold the face over, and slide the side tab under "E" in the back.
44. Now you mask is done! You can now color both Anakin and Darth Vader!
