A fearless freedom fighter, Venisa Doza once fought with the Rebel Alliance to dismantle the Galactic Empire but fell in love with an Imperial officer in the process. While her family remains safe aboard the Colossus - after convincing Imanuel Doza to defect, the two married and had a child - Venisa has answered the call of the Resistance, insistent on fighting back against the threat of the First Order so that her daughter, Torra, might one day live in a galaxy at peace.

Solemn and reserved, Captain Imanuel Doza runs the Colossus platform from a pristine office in his namesake tower. Although he has a soft spot for his daughter, Torra, he is seen as a stern man who will not be easily intimidated, even by the First Order.

A specially-trained member of the First Order Security Bureau with a mysterious scar on her jaw, Agent Tierny hopes to restore peace to the galaxy through absolute order. A master of manipulation, Tierny's tactics more often involve lulling her targets into a false sense of security rather than using more aggressive forms of interrogation. Her arrival at the Colossus platform, as part of a First Order security takeover, ushers in sheer chaos when the platform is plunged deep into the waters of Castilon, leaving only Doza Tower above sea level.

A daring pilot at the Colossus station with a sense of flair and competitiveness, Torra Doza has the combined energy of a hotshot Ace and a fifteen-year old. She is the daughter of the station operator, Captain Imanuel Doza, and lives in the station’s upper levels.

A tough and hardworking mechanic on the Colossus platform, Tam Ryvora is an inventive and skilled technician who is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. She has big dreams of one day becoming a pilot and racer.

Located on the Outer Rim water planet of Castilon, the Colossus is a dangerous place that tends to attract well-meaning outcasts and more unsavory denizens of far-flung planets alike. Protected by some of the best pilots around, the Aces, elite stars of entertaining and dangerous sky races, the platform is soon infiltrated by the First Order, architects of a larger conflict brewing in the galaxy. But a small band of Resistance sympathizers led by secret spy Kazuda Xiono discover that the platform isn't what it seems.
