  • WED Treadwell Droid

    default

    WED Treadwell Droid

WED Treadwell droids are found throughout the galaxy, serving as utility and repair droids. Treadwells come in a range of models, but all have a flat, treaded base, a spindly neck and a cluster of arms tipped with various tools. The Lars family used Treadwell droids on their Tatooine moisture farm for decades; Luke Skywalker was with a Treadwell repairing vaporators when he caught sight of the battle between Princess Leia’s blockade runner and Darth Vader’s Star Destroyer.

    Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker was a Tatooine farmboy who rose from humble beginnings to become one of the greatest Jedi the galaxy has ever known. Along with his friends Princess Leia and Han Solo, Luke battled the evil Empire, discovered the truth of his parentage, and ended the tyranny of the Sith. A generation later, the location of the famed Jedi master was one of the galaxy’s greatest mysteries. Haunted by Ben Solo’s fall to evil and convinced the Jedi had to end, Luke sought exile on a distant world, ignoring the galaxy’s pleas for help. But his solitude would be interrupted – and Luke Skywalker had one final, momentous role to play in the struggle between good and evil.

    Tatooine

Tatooine is harsh desert world orbiting twin suns in the galaxy’s Outer Rim. In the days of the Empire and the Republic, many settlers scratched out a living on moisture farms, while spaceport cities such as Mos Eisley and Mos Espa served as home base for smugglers, criminals, and other rogues. Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker both once called Tatooine home, although across the stars it was more widely known as a hive of scum and villainy ruled by the crime boss Jabba the Hutt.

  • Jawa

    Jawa

Jawas are meter-tall humanoids completely hidden behind rough, hand-woven robes. Their faces are concealed within the dark folds of a cowl, from which peer their sickly glowing yellow eyes. They comb the deserts of Tatooine in search of discarded scrap and wayward mechanicals. Using their cobbled-together weaponry, they can incapacitate droids and drag them to their treaded fortress-homes, immense sand-scarred vehicles known as sandcrawlers. They sell their hastily refurbished junk to moisture farmers who are hard-pressed to find a better selection elsewhere.

    Han Solo

Han Solo rose from an impoverished childhood on the mean streets of Corellia to become one of the heroes of the Rebel Alliance. As captain of the Millennium Falcon, Han and his co-pilot Chewbacca came to believe in the cause of galactic freedom, joining Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa in the fight against the Empire. After the Battle of Endor, Han faced difficult times in a chaotic galaxy, leading to a shattering confrontation with his estranged son Ben.

    Echo Base

After the Battle of Yavin, the rebels fled from the Imperial starfleet, seeking a new main base of operations. They settled on the frozen Outer Rim world of Hoth, where they enlarged caverns to form Echo Base, defended by a powerful ion cannon and squads of airspeeders converted to operate in frigid conditions. Unfortunately, the base was barely established when an Imperial probe droid discovered it. General Rieekan ordered an immediate evacuation, but before Echo Base could be abandoned an Imperial task force arrived, landing AT-AT walkers and ground troops. Though key personnel escaped, the Battle of Hoth was a costly defeat for the Alliance.

    default

    Asajj Ventress

A former Jedi Padawan turned assassin, Asajj Ventress was trained in the ways of the dark side by Count Dooku. For many years, she yearned to be considered a true Sith, secretly acting as Dooku’s apprentice. During the time of the Clone Wars, Ventress fought for the Separatists, clashing with Jedi like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker with her twin red-bladed lightsabers. But after Dooku was ordered to dispose of Asajj and left her for dead, Ventress returned to her Nightsister clan to exact her revenge. In time, Ventress reinvented herself as a bounty hunter and reclaimed her identity, neither a Sith nor a Jedi.
