  • Sith Speeder

    Sith Speeder

A pared-down crescent-shaped conveyance, Darth Maul's Sith Speeder was a very utilitarian craft stripped of all non-essential features to deliver the swiftest speeds possible. Deployed from the Sith Infiltrator, Maul's speeder bike traversed distances across land when use of his starship was deemed unnecessary. When searching for the escaped Queen Amidala of the Naboo, Maul used the Sith Speeder to soar towards the Queen's starship on Tatooine. He lept from the moving vehicle and immediately engaged in a duel with Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn.

    BARC Speeder

An army is only as effective as its mobility, so the Grand Army of the Republic was outfitted with an increasingly varied and versatile vehicle pool as the Clone Wars progressed. The BARC speeder gave a single clone trooper increased operational range, great speed, mobility, and firepower otherwise unavailable to the foot soldier. A more aggressive and bulkier design than slimmer speeder bikes used by the Jedi, the BARC speeder was used in scouting and escort missions on a variety of worlds. They were easily adaptable, with support struts that could be added to hold a stretcher or sidecar.

  • Flash Speeder

    Flash Speeder

The Flash speeder is a sleek, lightweight repulsorlift vehicle used by Naboo's volunteer security force for patrolling the tranquil streets of their peaceful cities. The open-air canopy seats two soldiers. Turret-mounted on the rear spoiler is a blaster cannon. During the Trade Federation invasion of Naboo, the resistance groups organized by Captain Panaka and Queen Amidala employed Flash and Gian speeders to infiltrate the besieged city of Theed. Flash speeders continued to be used during the age of the Empire, and on worlds other than Naboo. The rebel Zeb Orrelios employed a Flash speeder to travel on Atollon, location of Chopper Base.

  • Gian Speeder

    Gian Speeder

The Gian speeder is a repulsorlift vehicle used by Naboo's volunteer security force for crowd control and urban defense. It is a heavier design than the sleek Flash speeder. The open-air canopy seats four soldiers. Flanking the sides of the craft are standard laser cannons. Modified models come equipped with a hood-mounted laser cannon capable of penetrating the armor of a Trade Federation battle tank.
