Garel

A small ferry craft, the star commuter shuttle was used to transport passengers on short trips between worlds. For the route between Lothal and Garel, it was piloted by RX-24, a droid that specialized in space travel. During the age of the Resistance, Jarek Yeager piloted such a shuttle to ensure a clandestine meeting between Poe Dameron and secret spy Kazuda Xiono happened far away from the Colossus platform.

Minister Maketh Tua was a proud member of the Empire. With the rise of the Lothal rebels, Minister Tua gained the ire of Grand Moff Tarkin. Darth Vader and Agent Kallus informed her that she would meet with the Imperial leader, and Tua knew her life was in danger. She secretly contacted the Ghost team, looking for safe passage off Lothal in return for the Empire’s secrets. While they were wary, the rebels agreed and set a rendezvous point. It was not to be, however; Darth Vader knew that Tua would try and escape, and used it to his advantage. After she boarded her shuttle and the rebels neared to escort the Minister, the ship exploded. It was all a setup meant to draw out and frame the rebels. Tua was killed, a tool used for Vader’s evil machinations.

Amda Wabo, a male Aqualish, was a weapons manufacturer on Garel during the age of the Empire. He had set in place a deal to sell banned T-7 ion disruptors to the Empire, but his plans fell through due to a slight language barrier...courtesy of a group of Lothal rebels.

T-7 ion disruptor rifles were deadly, powerful weapons capable of disabling starships; when used against organic beings, the results could be gruesome. As a result, they were banned by the Senate. During the age of the Empire, Imperial forces used the disruptors to clear out worlds and, sometimes, slaughter their inhabitants, as was the case with their takeover of Lasan.

A reliable and versatile astromech droid, R2-D2 has served Padmé Amidala, Anakin Skywalker, and Luke Skywalker in turn, showing great bravery in rescuing his masters and their friends from many perils. A skilled starship mechanic and fighter pilot's assistant, he has an unlikely but enduring friendship with the fussy protocol droid C-3PO.

Stormtroopers are elite shock troops fanatically loyal to the Empire and impossible to sway from the Imperial cause. They wear imposing white armor, which offers a wide range of survival equipment and temperature controls to allow the soldiers to survive in almost any environment. Stormtroopers wield blaster rifles and pistols with great skill, and attack in hordes to overwhelm their enemies. Along with standard stormtroopers, the Empire has organized several specialized units, including snowtroopers and scout troopers.
