Two-legged wingless avians native to Naboo, kaadu are swift and agile, with sharp hearing and a keen sense of smell. Gungans domesticated kaadu long ago, and had a special bond with their loyal mounts. During the Battle of Naboo, Gungan commanders such as Jar Jar Binks and Tarpals commanded the Gungan cavalry from atop kaadu.
