    IG-RM Thug Droids

IG-RM thug droids proved popular with gangsters, including Lothal's Cikatro Vizago, as they were commonly used as enforcers. The intimidating robotic beings used BlasTech DLT-18 laser rifles, and were developed by Holowan Laboratories -- the manufacturer responsible for IG-86 sentinel droids and General Grievous' dreaded IG-100 MagnaGuards.

    Cikatro Vizago

Once a leader of the Broken Horn crime syndicate on Lothal, Cikatro Vizago changed his ways (mostly) and now serves as captain of the Rebellion's stolen ore crawler.

    Super Battle Droid

The infantry used by the Trade Federation had several major shortcomings that were carefully revisited by the battle droids' designers. From that research came the super battle droid, a bulkier, stronger, and more advanced version of the standard mechanical soldier. The super battle droid requires no overriding command signal to operate, and thus has a limited degree of independence. They are fearless and tireless, and will run at full speed into combat, their cannons extended, firing until they have reduced their targets to smoldering ruins.

    IG-88

Many people in the galaxy fear droids, what with the memories of the Clone Wars still fresh in their minds. Far more terrifying than battle droids were assassin droids, independently programmed mechanical killers that had no masters. IG-88 is a battered chrome war droid who has become a bounty hunter, and answered Darth Vader's call to capture the Millennium Falcon during the events surrounding the Battle of Hoth.

    RGC Landspeeder

The RGC landspeeder was a fast on-world hover vehicle, though it was larger than typical landspeeder models. Featuring two seats, the bulky rear of the RGC supported the transport of heavy cargo. Lothal gangster Cikatro Vizago's thug droids drove an RGC, taking advantage of its speed and size to make quick getaways and move weapons easily. Coruscant thieves Cassie Cryar and Ione Marcy used an RGC airspeeder (a high-altitude model) during the Clone Wars, as these vehicles were non-descript, fast, and cheap. Cad Bane did the same when he kidnapped C-3PO.

    T-7 Ion Disruptor Rifles

T-7 ion disruptor rifles were deadly, powerful weapons capable of disabling starships; when used against organic beings, the results could be gruesome. As a result, they were banned by the Senate. During the age of the Empire, Imperial forces used the disruptors to clear out worlds and, sometimes, slaughter their inhabitants, as was the case with their takeover of Lasan.

  • Lothal

    default

    Lothal

Lothal is a diverse planet, with both farmland and a city center. During the age of the Empire, it fell under Imperial occupation, as farmers were kicked off their land and enormous TIE fighter and weapons factories were built. While most of the population felt powerless in the face of Imperial rule, a select few dared to fight back.
