  • Kragan Gorr meets with Sidon Ithano at an undisclosed location to complete a deal: a sizeable amount of money in exchange for a cache of super battle droids left over from the Clone Wars! The pirate leader plans to use the hulking mechanical soldiers to take over the Colossus.

  • On the Colossus, Synara and Captain Doza debate how he's been handling the pirates. Doza soon goes to speak with Kragan, suspicious of his breaking the lockdown and leaving the Colossus. Gorr claims that he only brought back food and supplies for the ship; when Doza departs, Kragan and his pirates haul in the contraband.

  • Kaz goes to Doza's office and enters while the captain and Yeager are mid-conversation with Neeku about a mysterious assignment. In the pirates' hangar, Synara, unaware of Gorr's plot, tells Kragan that she wants no part of what he's planning.

  • Kaz secretly follows Neeku...to the pirates' hangar! Kragan immediately asks Neeku if he will help repair the super battle droids, which he says are a gift to the Colossus for added security. Among the delivery, however, and much to Kragan's surprise, is a B1 battle droid.

  • At Aunt Z's, Kaz talks with Synara, expressing his concern with Doza, Yeager, and Neeku's secretiveness. Synara feels the same about the pirates, and is surprised to learn that Neeku is working with the pirates. Eager to find out what's going on, she promises to get Kaz inside the hangar.

  • Neeku toils away on the droids, and the pirates refuse to answer his questions about where Kragan acquired them. The B1 droid assists in the repairs, and Neeku tells his new companion, "After we are through with your modifications, you'll be something more!"

  • Before he can finish work on "B1," however, Neeku is taken away by Kragan. With the super battle droids ready, Gorr has the Nikto engineer kept in a cargo container as he readies to enact his plot.

  • Kaz and Synara, sneaking in the pirates' hangar, are soon captured by super battle droids and thrown in with Neeku. Throughout the ship, Gorr's droids wreak havoc, blasting the Colossus' security droids as Kragan makes his way to the tower.

  • Neeku, however, has a plan, and soon, B1 opens the cargo container door! The green alien explains that he was suspicious of Kragan and programmed the droid to help them, and completes his modifications.

  • But Kragan and his droids reach the tower first, capturing Doza. When Kaz, Synara, Neeku, and B1 arrive, however, they find it empty: Kragan has taken Doza and Yeager to their hangar, where they will force them to walk into space.

  • Kaz and his friends make it to the hangar and are soon surrounded. But when Kragan orders his droids to blast them, they do not listen. Instead, B1 commands the super battle droids to stand down, and they lower their weapons. Neeku says he upgraded B1 to become the commander of the super battle droids; B1 then orders the B2s to capture all pirates.

  • Synara convinces Doza to offer Kragan a deal: his freedom for an assurance that he will never return to the Colossus. The captain agrees, and when the pirate gang leaves, Synara stays with the Colossus. Shortly after, Yeager congratulates Neeku on his successful spying job...leaving Kaz a little surprised that they did not choose him. "But I'm the spy!" he says.

  • Sidon Ithano

    default

    Sidon Ithano

Variously known as the Crimson Corsair, the Blood Buccaneer and the Red Raider, Sidon Ithano is the captain of the pirate ship Meson Martinet. A Delphidian, Ithano keeps his face concealed behind a red Kaleesh helmet. The Crimson Corsair rarely speaks, leaving the talking to his first mate, Quiggold. But his exploits speak for themselves: spacers whisper of his deeds in the Lost Clusters, at Adratharpe 7, and in Ponemah’s Sea of Sand, to name just a few adventures.

  • Super Battle Droid

    default

    Super Battle Droid

The infantry used by the Trade Federation had several major shortcomings that were carefully revisited by the battle droids' designers. From that research came the super battle droid, a bulkier, stronger, and more advanced version of the standard mechanical soldier. The super battle droid requires no overriding command signal to operate, and thus has a limited degree of independence. They are fearless and tireless, and will run at full speed into combat, their cannons extended, firing until they have reduced their targets to smoldering ruins.

  • Neeku Vozo

    default

    Neeku Vozo

Bright and optimistic, Neeku is a trustworthy and kind-hearted member of the Colossus community. He speaks honestly and takes everyone quite literally, sometimes making what he has to say unintentionally hilarious. But despite his quirks, Neeku's logical way of thinking makes him one of the best mechanics on the platform.

  • Kragan Gorr in Star Wars Resistance

    default

    Kragan Gorr

The notorious pirate Kragan Gorr has a reputation for leading ruthless attacks under the cover of environmental threats. In addition to his pirate gang and associates feeding him important tactical intelligence, Kragan is secretly in league with the First Order.

  • Battle Droid

    default

    Battle Droid

Rather than use flesh-and-blood warriors, the Separatists prefer mindlessly loyal soldiers that are easily controlled. The soulless ranks of their armies are dominated by tall, thin B1 battle droids built as mechanical imitations of their Geonosian designers. Battle droids can be controlled by centralized command centers such as the Trade Federation’s enormous Droid Control Ships, or programmed for independent action. They often suffer programming glitches that manifest as personality quirks. Battle droids are dim-witted and no match for clone troopers or Jedi, but they weren’t designed to be smart – they were designed to overwhelm Republic civilians through sheer numbers, something they do very effectively.

  • B1

    default

    B1

Shut away in a storage container with a battalion of super battle droids for many years, aboard the Colossus one battle droid simply nicknamed B1 got a fresh start. While the engineer Neeku was fixing the rest of the rare droids, he upgraded B1's systems for a more commanding and loyal droid than the typical battle bot.
