Idiot's Array Episode Guide
The original smooth-talking smuggler, Lando Calrissian, returns in the Star Wars Rebels episode “Idiot’s Array.” In this special behind-the-scenes video, the creators of Star Wars Rebels, and Lando himself – Billy Dee Williams – discuss bringing the fan-favorite character back to a galaxy far, far away.
Slovenly and greedy, Azmorigan was a gangster of unknown origin who dealt in the trade of rare, and often illegal, goods and services. His base of operations was his ship, the Merchant One, populated with servant droids and his own henchmen. While feared by many, Azmorigan suffered a major embarrassment when he was double-crossed by Lando Calrissian, resulting in the loss of the crime lord's hard-to-find puffer pig.
The puffer pig is a rare creature whose comical appearance and odd traits mask a hidden value. With a small, plump body, two large eyes set far apart, horn rows on their back, and a prominent snout, puffer pigs are not physically impressive animals; in addition to their strange look, the creatures balloon to more than triple their size when frightened. Puffer pigs' real gift is their sense of smell, particularly for precious minerals. In the age of the Empire, when mining was restricted, this ability led to the trade of puffer pigs on the black market.
Space vessel of the crime lord Azmorigan, the Merchant One was a C-ROC carrier ship featuring powerful weapons and a few surprises. The craft was equipped with one dorsal laser turret, two forward laser cannons, and two rear laser cannons -- essential heavy weaponry in Azmorigan's line of work. The Merchant One also carried a number of escape pods, which the Lothal rebel Hera used to escape the gangster's clutches.
Chopper was the resident droid of the Ghost, assisting the crew in everything from ship maintenance to combat -- even though he didn't always want to. After many years of repairs and patch jobs, Chopper had a beat-up, worn look that matched his sometimes cranky personality. Aesthetics aside, he was an essential part of this small rebel team, and ultimately, was loyal and heroic.
