The final helmet and costume of the Armorer, designed by concept artist Brian Matyas, represents a balance between ancient, ceremonial Mandalorian armor and practical blacksmithing design elements. Barn owl-shaped eyes on Mandalorian helmets first appeared in the 2012 Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode "A Friend In Need."
