Armored with thick scales, these great serpents dwell beneath the sands of Pasaana in networks of tunnels whose walls are hardened by oil excreted from their skins. After Rey and her friends tumble into the burrow of an injured vexis, she instinctively uses the Force to heal the creature, avoiding a dangerous confrontation.
