Thela has lived in the Ghorman capital city of Palmo his entire life. When he was a boy, he witnessed the cruelty of the Empire firsthand when a peaceful demonstration he attended with his family turned deadly. Thela carries the memory with him every day, working as a bellhop in an upscale hotel located in the same plaza where his father died.
