Mudtroopers

Han Solo rose from an impoverished childhood on the mean streets of Corellia to become one of the heroes of the Rebel Alliance. As captain of the Millennium Falcon, Han and his co-pilot Chewbacca came to believe in the cause of galactic freedom, joining Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa in the fight against the Empire. After the Battle of Endor, Han faced difficult times in a chaotic galaxy, leading to a shattering confrontation with his estranged son Ben.

A stout two-legged walker, the All Terran Defense Turret, or AT-DT, is a mobile artillery piece designed to protect infantry and Imperial installations during ground combat. The AT-DT’s head is protected by extra layers of armor plating and shielding against artillery flashback.

Red-skinned subterranean dwellers, the Mimbanese once fought alongside Republic clone troopers against the Separatists. Now, they are battling for their planet’s future against the Empire. Imperial mining operations have devastated Mimban’s climate and cleared vast stretches of rain forest, leaving muddy plains behind. The Mimbanese use the mud as camouflage, ambushing Imperial soldiers with improvised and scavenged weapons.

Mimban’s valuable minerals have made this muddy world a battlefield since the Clone Wars. Then, the Republic was fighting Separatist droids; now, the Imperial Army seeks to destroy Mimbanese insurgents. After getting kicked out of the Imperial Academy, Han Solo found himself dumped on Mimban as a mudtrooper. While there Han met an Imperial prisoner named Chewbacca, an encounter that would change his life.

A reciprocating double-barreled blaster rifle, the E-22’s heavy firepower is a must in pitched fights, and used to devastating effect by the Imperial Army on planets such as Mimban. Mudtroopers battling the native Mimbanese discovered it was vital to keep the recoil sleeve free of mud, for fear of a jam at the worst possible moment.

The Galactic Empire ruled for years through fear, intimidation, and tyranny. With a mighty military force including stormtroopers, spy technology like probe droids, and the planet-destroying Death Star, Emperor Palpatine’s regime seemed unstoppable and permanent. But some dared to strike back…
