Fives’ career in the Grand Army of the Republic almost ended before it began – as a clone cadet on Kamino, he and the other members of Domino Squad struggled to complete the training exercises necessary for graduation. Fives and his squadmates Cutup, Droidbait, Echo and Hevy bickered constantly instead of working together, to the dissatisfaction of those overseeing their training.
