The RZ-1T, an A-wing trainer, featured room for two passengers, allowing for novice pilots to have an instructor on board. It was developed in the early days of the rebellion against the Empire, and used by Kanan and Ezra of the Ghost team.
Darth Maul called his fighter the Nightbrother -- it was a Gauntlet starfighter in the Mandalorian tradition, but customized with a black and red color scheme and other modifications. Like other Gauntlets, it featured rotating wings, a large hull, and was armed with two forward laser cannons and a pair of rearward facing cannons.
Death Watch commander Pre Vizsla built a massive military operation during the Clone Wars, including secret bases spread throughout the galaxy. One such outpost was Vizsla Keep 09, which was hidden in the rings of Phelbos. Darth Maul, who’d assumed control of Mandalore after defeating Vizsla in combat, knew of the fort. During the Clone Wars, he brought Count Dooku and General Grievous to the Keep after capturing them on Ord Mantell; the Republic later tracked Maul there, leading to a battle between clones and Maul's Shadow Collective. Years later, Maul used it as a meeting point with the Ghost rebels, where he would join Sith and Jedi holocrons together to gain secret knowledge.
Sith holocrons hold knowledge and wisdom that can only be accessed by dark side practitioners. The artifacts can also be used as keys to unlock temple doors. The Sith temple on Malachor was the home of a Sith holocron that Maul attempted to steal with the help of Ezra Bridger. When placed in the temple's obelisk, the holocron could create a super weapon, designed to take life. Maul's plans were foiled, however, when Ezra and his Master Kanan were able to pull the holocron from the obelisk just in time.
One of the few to be trained as a Jedi after the fall of the Republic, Ezra Bridger grew up an orphan on the streets of Lothal during the age of the Empire. Although he had learned to be wary of strangers, his introduction to the Ghost crew, a small band of rebels fighting back against the Imperial regime, changed his outlook and his future. Training in the ways of the Force under the mentorship of Kanan Jarrus, Ezra became a Jedi Padawan and a part of the emerging rebellion. He also grew close to Hera Syndulla, Zeb, Chopper, and Sabine Wren, who was like a sister in his new found family. After several years together, Bridger vanished during the Battle of Lothal, disappearing into parts unknown in a hyperspace jump that pulled Ezra and Grand Admiral Thrawn into deep space.
