Maul strikes back. The dark side warrior is looking for Ezra -- and the Sith and Jedi holocrons. He holds the Ghost crew hostage in exchange for the artifacts, and extracts the location of the Jedi device from Hera’s mind.

Now, Kanan and Ezra must recover the Sith holocron from Bendu. The ancient being says that uniting the holocrons is extremely dangerous, and getting the Sith artifact back will not be easy; Bendu has hidden it in the Atollon caverns.

While Maul tries to open the Jedi holocron, the Ghost crew makes their move. Realizing the Sith is part droid, Chopper magnetizes the cargo hold, sending Maul to the ceiling. Still, he proves too powerful and retakes the ship.

Kanan guides Ezra from outside the cave -- until the Padawan runs into a hive of krykna spiders. Kanan joins Ezra, calling off the beasts, and tells his student that he never blamed him for what happened on Malachor.

Finally, they find the Sith holocron amid a cluster of the giant spiders. Together, Kanan and Ezra draw it near.

The Jedi rendezvous with Maul. The Sith orders his droids to hold Ezra with the rest of the crew, while Kanan accompanies him.

But it was all a trick! Maul throws Kanan into the air lock, determined to kill him once and for all. The Jedi, using the power of the Force, propels himself back toward the space station and into the hangar.

Together, Maul and Ezra open the holocrons. The artifacts join in a blinding flash. Meanwhile, the droids go to carry out their final orders -- execute their master’s prisoners. Just before they can fire their blasters, Kanan leaps into the hold and saves the crew.

Maul and Ezra peer into the light. The Padawan is close to seeing the key to destroying the Sith, and glimpses an image of “twin suns.” Maul, with an almost gleeful rage, mutters, “He lives!” When Kanan approaches, the energy bursts, and Maul escapes to his ship with a fiery determination. Ezra recovers, unsure of what he witnessed. “I’m sure we’ll find out together,” Kanan says.
