Sabine, Fenn Rau, Kanan, and Ezra head for Krownest, hoping to recruit Sabine's mother to help the rebellion. Immediately, their ship is disabled by a welcoming committee, and a battle ensues on the ground -- which only stops when Sabine's brother Tristan realizes who he's fighting.

At the clan's stronghold, Sabine's mother, Ursa Wren, emerges and demands her daughter be put in a cell. Sabine ignites the Darksaber and says, "Mother, we need to talk," buying herself some time. The Jedi turn over their weapons, and the rebels go inside the complex for an audience with Ursa.

Ursa, her clan forced to align with the Empire, bristles at the idea of supporting the rebellion. The situation is complex, but mother and daughter both want to save Mandalore. Sabine gifts her mother the Darksaber.

In secret, Ursa contacts Gar Saxon and alerts him to the rebels' presence. She is willing to hand over the Jedi, but wants her daughter spared. Meanwhile, Fenn Rau has recovered the Jedi's weapons.

Saxon arrives for the rebels, and Ursa gives him the Darksaber. But he betrays her, charging Ursa with harboring traitors. "Clan Wren is clearly a threat to the Empire, and must be made an example of," Saxon says. At that moment, Fenn Rau bursts through the window, and tosses the Jedi their lightsabers. The room erupts into battle.

As Saxon readies to strike Ursa down with the Darksaber, Ezra throws his Jedi weapon to Sabine. She saves her mother, and the fight continues outside.

Sabine and Saxon battle furiously, utilizing both their swords and Mandalorian weaponry.

Finally, Sabine tags Saxon's right arm and reclaims the Darksaber. Though he refuses to yield, Sabine will not kill him. As she walks away, Saxon raises a blaster and prepares to fire...

...but is stopped by Sabine's mother.

The rebels are ready to return to base, but Sabine is not. She will remain with her family, find a way to get her father back from Mandalore, and help find a leader worthy of her people.
