Nils Tenant was a human male who served the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars, eventually raising to the rank of Rear Admiral in the Navy. His friendship with Wilhuff Tarkin led to his advancement to Admiral in the Imperial Navy after Palpatine declared himself Emperor. Sometime after that, he was chosen as one of the Joint Chiefs of the Imperial Military that served the Empire.
