Corvax Fen

The Alazmec of Winsit are adherents of the dark side, and particularly devoted pilgrims journey to Darth Vader’s wrecked castle on Mustafar to venerate his memory. These Sith devotees are the guardians of Mustafar’s Corvax Fen, where they have planted irontrees in its scanty soil. They defend its secrets against seekers they consider unworthy – including First Order Supreme Leader Kylo Ren.

An ancient order of Force-wielders devoted to the dark side, the Sith practice hate, deception, and greed. Notable for their red-bladed lightsabers, black dress, and use of their aggressive feelings, the Sith look to amass power at all costs. The evil Darth Sidious, along with his apprentice Darth Vader, achieved the Sith goal of galactic conquest after a millennia of plotting.

Once the heroic Jedi Knight named Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader was seduced by the dark side of the Force. Forever scarred by his defeat on Mustafar, Vader was transformed into a cybernetically-enhanced Sith Lord. At the dawn of the Empire, Vader led the Empire’s eradication of the Jedi Order and the search for survivors. He remained in service of the Emperor -- the evil Darth Sidious -- for decades, enforcing his Master’s will and seeking to crush the Rebel Alliance and other detractors. But there was still good in him…

The son of Han Solo and Leia Organa, Ben Solo was seduced by the dark side of the Force and renamed himself Kylo Ren: leader of the Knights of Ren, champion of the First Order, and apprentice to Supreme Leader Snoke. Driven to destroy the past, Kylo killed his father and his master, supplanting Snoke as Supreme Leader. But he remained haunted by his father’s death, his connection with the mysterious Rey, and the pull of the good in himself. In time, all three would help Ben Solo return to the light.

Long ago, wayfinders helped both Jedi and Sith navigate a largely uncharted galaxy. Navicomputers have made wayfinders obsolete, but these devices preserve ancient routes to planets whose locations were secret or have been lost. Darth Vader and Darth Sidious each possessed a Sith wayfinder pointing the way to the legendary Sith redoubt of Exegol, making these twin artifacts invaluable prizes in the battle to control the galaxy.

An obsidian tower rising from the lava fields of Mustafar, Darth Vader’s personal redoubt sits above an ancient Sith cave that is a source of malignant power, as well as near the site of the former Anakin Skywalker’s maiming by Obi-Wan Kenobi. These twin connections help Vader channel his rage and pain into a focus for the dark side of the Force. After Vader’s death, the castle has become a pilgrimage site for cultists drawn to the Sith Lord’s legend.
