    Hailfire Droid

Bristling with missiles, these droid tanks raced into battle on giant hoop-like wheels. Originally constructed by the InterGalactic Banking Clan to collect debts, they served the Separatists as fast-attack vehicles, using their missiles to strike distant targets.

    Confederacy of Independent Systems

The Confederacy of Independent Systems, also known as the Separatist Alliance, was a collection of star systems and corporate titans that left the Republic and fought for independence against the Republic’s clone armies and Jedi Knights. The charismatic former Jedi Count Dooku was the Alliance’s political leader, while its military power came from credits and assets donated by powerful galactic trade groups. No one suspected that the Alliance was actually a tool of Darth Sidious, who had engineered the Clone Wars as part of a Sith plot to rule the galaxy.

  • Geonosis

    Geonosis

A harsh rocky world less than a parsec away from Tatooine, Geonosis is a ringed planet beyond the borders of the Galactic Republic. Its uninviting surface is made up of harsh, rocky desert, and the creatures that evolved on Geonosis are well equipped to survive in the brutal environment. The most advanced lifeform are the Geonosians, sentient insectoids that inhabit towering spire-hives. The Geonosians maintain large factories for the production of droids and weapons for the Separatist cause in the Clone Wars. After the Clone Wars, the Empire chose Geonosis as the construction site of the first Death Star, restricting travel to the system and sterilizing the planet’s surface.

  • Count Dooku

    Count Dooku

Count Dooku was a menacing Sith Lord and central figure in the Clone Wars. Once a Jedi -- trained by Yoda -- he became disillusioned with the Jedi Order and thirsted for greater power. Dooku voluntarily left the light side behind and became Darth Sidious’ dark side disciple, taking the secret name Darth Tyranus and leading the Separatist army. Dooku advanced Sidious’s secret plot to take over the galaxy, but forgot that betrayal is the nature of the Sith.

  • General Grievous

    General Grievous

General Grievous was a brilliant Separatist military strategist and a feared Jedi hunter, known for his ruthlessness and hacking cough. His body itself was a weapon, allowing him lightning quick strikes and devastating blows. But he was also quick to run from a fight, a tactic that worked until one final meeting with Obi-Wan Kenobi.

    General Grievous’ TSMEU-6 Wheel Bike

Lightning-quick, the TSMEU-6 wheel bike was General Grievous’ vehicle of choice during the Separatist invasion of Utapau. As its name implied, the wheel bike featured a large wheel which would spin and give the transport its fast movement and maneuverability. The TSMEU-6 was a single-passenger vehicle, with one seat next to its wheel, and could reach speeds of up to 330 kilometers per hour when rolling, and 10 kilometers per hour when running on its retractable legs. It also had significant firepower, with a powerful double laser cannon. Despite this functionality, Grievous’ wheel bike would be destroyed during a failed attempt to flee from Obi-Wan Kenobi in one of the last battles of the Clone Wars.

  • Super Battle Droid

    default

    Super Battle Droid

The infantry used by the Trade Federation had several major shortcomings that were carefully revisited by the battle droids' designers. From that research came the super battle droid, a bulkier, stronger, and more advanced version of the standard mechanical soldier. The super battle droid requires no overriding command signal to operate, and thus has a limited degree of independence. They are fearless and tireless, and will run at full speed into combat, their cannons extended, firing until they have reduced their targets to smoldering ruins.
