Captain Doza has commanded that his daughter stay in her room while he meets with the First Order. Torra, frustrated, sneaks out -- and literally bumps into Kaz, who had been doing his own snooping with BB-8 in tow.

While Kaz, Torra, and BB-8 check out the market, Commander Pyre arrives. Torra tells Kaz that if her father signs Pyre's agreement, the First Order will patrol the Colossus to protect it from pirates. As Pyre soon tells Captain Doza, this would mean a stormtrooper presence on the platform with no timeline for leaving.

Torra, Kaz, and BB-8 sneak back to the tower and visit the Aces' private lounge. The pilots are uneasy with Doza's secrecy of late; Jace Rucklin, waiting tables to pay for a new racer, is also none too pleased when he spots Kaz.

Before leaving, Pyre presents Doza with an official agreement on a datapad. Doza is not ready to sign, saying he needs time to review the details, and tells his droid to keep the device in his office.

Torra and Kaz go back to her quarters to play a flight sim. They're having fun...until Torra's droid comes in, identifying BB-8 as an intruder. Torra calls off her droid, and Kaz and BB-8 escape.

Kaz makes his way into Captain Doza's office and finds the datapad. But he had been spotted by Jace, who brings Doza back, hoping to catch Kaz red-handed. Kaz manages to download the intel, and accidentally opens Doza's closet...

...which houses what appears to be an Imperial uniform. Kaz is shocked but hides there, evading Doza and Jace. The young spy believes that Doza was part of the Empire, and is now working with the First Order. "This is bad, BB," he says to the droid.

Kaz and BB-8 don't get away completely undetected, however. Torra sees them leaving, and wants to know what they were doing in her father's office. Kaz promises he can explain, so Torra agrees to help get them out of the tower in secret.

Unfortunately, that means exiting through a trash incinerator...that's active! BB-8 gets the door open while Kaz and Torra dodge bolts. Finally, they all make a desperate run for it, barely making it out alive.

Once safe, Torra bluntly asks Kaz if he's a spy; he denies it, but Torra seems unconvinced. Still, she thanks him for their small adventure and they part ways. Torra goes back to her room and connects with her father, who is ready to take her on a hover cruise. Alone for a moment, she ponders aloud: "Who are you really, Kazuda?"
