As Obi-Wan and Anakin continue their pursuit, Yoda suspects the intruders may be receiving assistance from inside the Temple. Contacting Ahsoka, he warns that an intruder might possibly be posing as a Jedi. Seeking out Jocasta, Ahsoka spies the librarian making a suspicious transmission.

Ahsoka confronts Jocasta, who attacks Ahsoka with the librarian's lightsaber. Untrained with the Jedi weapon, Cato can only hold off Ahsoka, buying enough time to run for it. Ahsoka uses the Force to send a chair tumbling into Cato's path, tripping up the changeling. She interrogates Cato and discovers that the intruder's objective is the holocron vault.

Bane is at the vault gate, but discovers Cato's been caught -- he'll need to find another way in. After dispatching Todo to the communications center, he sticks a small device -- the same kind of "security chip" he implanted in Todo earlier -- into the access panel. It counts down to zero and explodes.

Anakin and Obi-Wan follow the blast to find Todo's cut path to the communications center. As they give chase, Bane emerges from the shadows, having successfully misdirected the Jedi. He enters the holocron vault and grabs the appropriate cube.

Reaching the communications center, Todo emerges from a ventilation shaft to find a room full of Jedi. Mace detects the explosive implanted in the droid and Force pushes it away. Anakin and Obi-Wan take cover in the vent shafts as Todo explodes.

Back in the archives, Ahsoka marches a bound Cato and checks in with Jocasta Nu. Bane, meanwhile, sneaks away hidden beneath a Jedi robe.

Yoda and the other Jedi Masters try to figure out why their enemy would want a Jedi holocron. Cato offers up information on Bane's next target: Bolla Ropal. Ropal is the keeper of the Kyber Crystal, a data repository of every known Force-sensitive child in the galaxy that can only be read within a Jedi holocron. Ahsoka and Anakin will leave to alert Ropal while Kenobi will hunt for Bane on Coruscant.
