Crosshair's attack shuttle soars through hyperspace. He visits Hunter in his cell, but will not tell his former squadmate their final destination. Before leaving, Crosshair activates Hunter's comm, hoping the Bad Batch will come for him.
-
On Ord Mantell, Echo works on the Marauder. But Omega is growing impatient, eager to rescue Hunter. As the ship becomes operational, they receive Hunter's signal and see that he is no longer on Daro.
-
Crosshair and Hunter arrive at Kamino, where they're greeted by Admiral Rampart. Once they're dismissed, recruit ES-02 from Crosshair's squad expresses her distrust of the clones. "Keep an eye on things," Rampart says.
-
Tech infers that the signal from Hunter's comm is a trap. Thankfully, Omega knows of a landing pad in Tipoca City that will be clear of troopers.
-
Upon arrival they find nothing at Omega's coordinates; she says they must go lower, however, to activate a platform. Finally, a landing space rises from the waters.
-
To get to the city, Omega activates a hidden tube system. Their tube leads directly to Nala Se's laboratory.
-
As Crosshair escorts Hunter, the Bad Batch leader realizes that the facility is being decommissioned -- and clones will be phased out next. "Not the ones that matter," Crosshair says defiantly.
-
Arriving in the command center, one of Crosshair's troops confirms that scanners picked up a ship. "It's them," Crosshair says, confident the Bad Batch will come to them.
-
Omega and the Bad Batch arrive in the lab -- the very place that the Kaminoans developed the Bad Batch's mutations, Omega says. After Echo taps into the system, he finds that all central files have been erased. Suddenly, they hear something from behind nearby medical equipment...
-
It's AZI-3! He explains that he's been hiding in this lab, as Imperial troops have been deactivating droids and forcing Kaminoans onto transports; they eliminated those that resisted.
-
Hunter tells Crosshair that the Empire's occupation of worlds and silencing dissenters isn't right. But Crosshair won't listen. "Can't you see they're using you?" Hunter says. "It's that inhibitor chip in your head."
-
Omega, AZI, Wrecker, Echo, and Tech track the comm signal. They come to a hangar, which sits directly beneath the signal's origin: the training room. "We'll enter through the lift. That should give us a slight advantage," Tech says.
-
But when the Bad Batch emerge in the training room, they find Crosshair and his TK troopers waiting. The clones throw down their weapons; Crosshair soon realizes that Omega is missing, however, and orders a search.
-
Echo activates his own comm signal, and Omega intuits that something must have gone wrong. "I have an idea," she tells AZI, opening a panel that houses training droids.
-
Hunter and Crosshair again trade barbs. "I was one of you," Crosshair finally says. "You may have forgotten. But I haven't. And that's why I'm going to give you what you never gave me: a chance."
-
Meanwhile, ES-02 finds Omega in the lab and reports in to Crosshair. He commands that the trooper send her offworld.
-
Hunter protests, but Crosshair goes on. "Stop pretending you're something you're not," Crosshair says. "This is what we were made for. Think of all we could do...together." He removes Hunter's bindings and sends him toward the center of the training room with the rest of the Bad Batch.
-
Crosshair orders his squad to stand down, but they refuse. He then opens fire, killing the troopers that surround the Bad Batch.
-
As ES-02 closes in on Omega, AZI activates another panel of droids; it opens quickly and knocks out the soldier.
-
In the training room, Crosshair asks the Bad Batch to join the Empire. "You really don't get who we are, do you?" Hunter says. Suddenly, droids emerge from arriving lifts, opening fire. In the confusion, Hunter tackles Crosshair.
-
As more and more of Omega's droids close in, Crosshair fights them off alongside the Bad Batch.
-
When ES-02 returns to the training room, she sees the chaos inside and reports back to Rampart. "Pull remaining forces out," he says. "Let the clones die together."
-
Now offworld, Rampart sends a transmission to Tarkin, informing him that all essential personnel have been removed from Kamino, the chief scientist is secured, and the cloning technology is now under Imperial control. Pleased, Tarkin gives the order to fire when ready.
-
Once the battle with the droids is over, the Bad Batch surround Crosshair. Hunter tells Crosshair his inhibitor chip is to blame, and they can help him. "Wrong," Crosshair says. "I had my chip removed. A long time ago." After a tense moment, Crosshair moves to raise his weapon...
-
...but Hunter hits him first with a stun blast. Wrecker grabs Crosshair, and they make a run for the Marauder.
-
But before the Bad Batch can reach the platform, Imperial cruisers rain down a barrage of heavy fire, destroying the cloning facilities.
