"I don’t want to speak too much about Shin, as she is a brand new character, but it’s important for me to make her vulnerable to an audience despite what she has been taught and the actions she’s been led to make. I hope that her humanity makes her more complex and interesting, and expands our understanding of that darkness within someone and the reasoning behind it." - Ivanna Sakhno (Shin Hati) | Note: This material was derived from interviews completed in 2022 while "Ahsoka" was in production.

!["You feel this very guttural history to the two of them [Baylan and Shin], but you don’t know where they’re from and what they’re about. They’re working with Morgan Elsbeth like mercenaries for hire, and they are very formidable. It’s so fun to watch them, such a great team of Master and apprentice and so interesting watching how they work together."
