In interviewing celebrities and bands in the Star Wars Rocks section on StarWars.com, we've discovered that many of them are not only avid gamers, but big fans of LucasArts video games. Since The Force Unleashed hit stores this week, here are a few quotes from the rock stars and celebs eager to play.
Jesse Alexander -- Co-executive producer and writer on "Heroes": I can't wait! I think Haden Blackman, the creative lead on that project, is one of the biggest Star Wars maniacs I've ever met. He's incredibly creative and I'm so excited about the story crafted with the help of everyone there. The game looks amazing and so immersive. I love the time period that it takes place in. I'm amazed with all the tech that's gone into the game in terms of the DMM and the Euphoria engines. LucasArts continues to make some of the most exciting games around the most exciting franchise.
Kyle Newman -- Director of Fanboys: Jaime [King] and I can't wait to play the full version! We were fighting over the controller when the demo came out. I've been anxiously awaiting the game since the day it was announced. I already read the graphic novel and was blown away by all of the story revelations. Now I can't wait to experience it come to life. The release of The Force Unleashed will be a day long remembered for fans everywhere!
Dani Filth -- Cradle of Filth: Wow! Ever since previewing the trailer I have been quaking like Luke awaiting the rancor for its release. It seems like a cinematic experience that links Episode III and IV that you get to control. And the best bit? You get to strangle Wookiees with the dark side of the force playing as Lord Vader! Sheer genius. I can't wait for the Force to be with me!

Kai Dodson -- Army of Freshmen: I cannot wait for The Force Unleashed. I actually bought an Xbox 360 for this game alone. I downloaded the demo from Xbox live and have played it so many times I have every bit memorized. I also pre-ordered the game because they were offering a midnight pick up for all pre-orders. I know once it comes out my friend Bobby and I will be pulling some all-nighters. Bring it on!
Brian Harnois -- host of "Ghost Hunters International": I think I have played every single Star Wars game that has ever come out since the very first arcade game way back in the '80s. I am currently playing Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 right now on my Xbox 360. But the game I am really waiting for, and one of the only reasons I am glad I own a 360, is The Force Unleashed. That game is going to be totally sick. I can't wait to play as Vader and his Secret Apprentice. I think this is going to be the game of the year, and the best game on the 360 by far since they started making the 360. The reason why I play these games is simply that I am a Star Wars nut and can't get enough of it. From books to magazines (ahem....Star Wars Insider) to video games, as long as I am doing something Star Wars in my free time, I am happy.
Chris Vrenna -- Marilyn Manson/Gnarls Barkley/Tweaker: The Force Unleashed is my FAVORITE Star Wars game to date! The story line is awesome, and waving my wand on my Wii in the air is the closest thing to actually using a lightsaber. It is so much fun.

Ryan McCombs -- Drowning Pool: I would have to say that I don't remember being this stoked for a game since Republic Commando. I play two styles of games -- football and Star Wars. I find myself replacing the football games yearly but I still play the hell out of Star Wars Bounty Hunter and Star Wars Republic Commando as if they were brand new so I'm psyched that there's a new game in The Force Unleashed that I can sink my teeth into and enjoy for years to come. Something a lot of games don't offer today but LucasArts has a way of pulling off time after time.
Mike Luce -- Drowning Pool: As an avid fan of ALL things Star Wars, I've been reading in the Star Wars Insider magazine about Unleashed for quite awhile, that along with StarWars.com and TheForce.net and any other Star Wars outlets I run across while out on tour! We've been on tour for 16 months at this point. I'm pretty pumped to get going on The Force Unleashed! I broke down and read the graphic adaptation of the book! I promised myself I wouldn't do this as I intend to read the hardcover edition, but oh well. Okay, here goes. Coffee in hand, phone is off, and Surround Sound cranked to 11!
Mark Hamilton -- Ash: First time I saw previews for The Force Unleashed I knew LucasArts were taking gaming to a new level. The graphics looked mind blowing and the approach to the game was almost like a brand new episode to the saga was being created. I'm also a huge toy collector and already have all The Force Unleashed Hasbro stuff so it'll be great to finally get this much delayed game and see these characters come to life.
DJ Keltech: I'm really excited about the new game. It looks absolutely amazing! The Force Unleashed looks wicked, sick graphics and being able to use the Force to fight and solve puzzles! This has to be the best Star Wars game to date!
