    Skystrike Academy

One of the galaxy’s many Imperial training outposts, Skystrike Academy was an elite pilot school located in the atmosphere of Montross. Cadets, taught to follow orders no matter what, would train in simulator pods and fly in actual space before graduating to pilot status. Sabine Wren of the Ghost crew went undercover at Skystrike, where she extracted defectors Wedge Antilles and Hobbie Klivian, who would go on to become legendary rebel pilots.

    Instructor Goran

Instructor Goran was the overseer of Skystrike Academy, an elite Imperial Academy for TIE pilots. He was unforgiving with his students, but also blind as to what was truly going on under his watch; it took a surprise visit from Governor Pryce and Agent Kallus to root out an undercover rebel and three defectors, which was a great embarrassment for Goran.

    Sabine Wren

Sabine Wren is a Mandalorian warrior and graffiti artist with a creative and rebellious spirit. Independent by nature, during the age of the Empire a young Sabine defected from the Imperial Academy of Mandalore and joined a small rebel cell operating out of the Ghost and led by Hera Syndulla and the Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus. With a gift for colorful explosives and uniquely-painted beskar, Sabine’s signature starbird — a mark she left to sign her street art and other handiwork — inspired what would become the symbol for the Rebel Alliance.

    Wedge Antilles

A talented young rebel pilot from Corellia, Wedge Antilles survived the attack on the first Death Star to become a respected veteran of Rogue Squadron. He piloted a snowspeeder in the defense of Echo Base on Hoth, and led Red Squadron in the rebel attack on the second Death Star above Endor.

  • Simulator pods

    default

    Simulator pods

The Empire utilized simulator pods to run their cadets through specific scenarios and training missions. The pods were, essentially, standalone cockpit pods of TIE fighters; they could be moved a full 360 degrees to recreate the experience of flying a TIE, and featured immersive, on-screen visuals that could be monitored by instructors.
