THE DARK TIMES
After his failure involving the Ghost crew, Titus was demoted and sent to oversee operations at Reklam Station, an Imperial salvage yard. Yet again, he was bested by the Ghost crew, who stole seven Y-wings under his watch and destroyed the outpost.
A massive and experimental craft, the Imperial Interdictor was equipped with a gravity well. It could pull other ships out of hyperspace, making it a dangerous tool for the Empire. One of its first catches was a rebel ship carrying Commander Sato and Ezra Bridger, and Admiral Brom Titus of the Interdictor quickly placed them under arrest. When Rex, Kanan, and Chopper came to rescue them, the rebels would turn out to be more than Titus bargained for. Chopper rigged the gravity weapon to malfunction; when the rebels escaped and the Interdictor tried to draw them in, it also pulled in other large Imperial ships. The Interdictor was destroyed, and the rebels returned home.
Growing up on his own during the age of the Empire, Ezra Bridger relied on his street smarts -- and subconscious Force abilities -- to survive. He became a con artist and small-time thief, doing what he needed to get by on his home planet Lothal. But this reality also hardened Ezra, who by the time he was 14 years old, had little trust for anyone. That would change with his introduction to the Ghost crew, a small band of rebels fighting back against the Empire. Ezra came to believe in their cause, and saw that he could help change the galaxy for the better. And with the help of Kanan Jarrus, he began to learn the ways of the Jedi.
Jun Sato was the by-the-books leader of the Phoenix rebel cell. He was grateful for the assistance of the Ghost crew, who were highly recommended by Fulcrum and Bail Organa, though he hoped they would become more disciplined. After the destruction of his command frigate, he transferred his command to the blockade runner Liberator.
Clone Captain Rex served the Republic during the Clone Wars, often taking orders from Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano. He viewed military service as an honor, and he always completed his mission. Fond of using two blaster pistols at the same time, Rex customized his armor with distinctive blue markings. His loyalty to the Republic and his Jedi Generals was absolute, but even this dedicated veteran soldier found himself plagued by doubts as the Clone Wars claimed more lives and brought ruin to more worlds.
