Talzin and two Nightsisters disembark their starship on Serenno, where Dooku is expecting them. Talzin presents Savage to Dooku, who is impressed.

Once inside the palace, Dooku demands proof of Savage's abilities as a warrior. He will send the brute to the jungle planet of Devaron to overthrow a small Jedi Temple.

On Devaron, clones and battle droids fight for control of the Eedit Temple. Savage moves in from behind the Separatist forces, knocking down battle droids to reach the clones, who are no match for the monstrous Opress. Finishing them off, he targets two Jedi defenders, Master Halsey and his apprentice, Knox, who Savage handily defeats.

On Sorenno, Dooku vows to teach Savage the ways of the dark side. He claims they will be more powerful than Sidious, and will rule the galaxy together.
