In this preview of the Star Wars Rebels episode “The Future of the Force,” the Inquisitors seek to destroy Ezra and an Ithorian baby. Having detected their presence in above air duct, the Fifth Brother stabs his lightsaber through. Before he can deliver a final strike, however, help arrives…

    Oora

When the Inquisitors were tasked with hunting down all Force-sensitive children, they made their way to Oora’s home -- the Ithorian’s baby, Pypey, was connected with the mystical energy field. Thanks to some quick thinking, Oora sent Pypey away with a family droid, and the Ghost crew later saved the child from the Empire.

    Takobo

Notable for its colorful, beautiful architecture that blended modern and classical sensibilities, Takobo was a peaceful world. It was also home to a large Ithorian population in an area known as Hammertown, where the Empire's Inquisitors would alarmingly track a Force-sensitive baby named Pypey. They would fail to capture the child, however; the Ghost crew rescued Pypey, and Ahsoka Tano fought and defeated the dark-side warriors in the capital city’s streets.

    Ezra Bridger

One of the few to be trained as a Jedi after the fall of the Republic, Ezra Bridger grew up an orphan on the streets of Lothal during the age of the Empire. Although he had learned to be wary of strangers, his introduction to the Ghost crew, a small band of rebels fighting back against the Imperial regime, changed his outlook and his future. Training in the ways of the Force under the mentorship of Kanan Jarrus, Ezra became a Jedi Padawan and a part of the emerging rebellion. He also grew close to Hera Syndulla, Zeb, Chopper, and Sabine Wren, who was like a sister in his new found family. After several years together, Bridger vanished during the Battle of Lothal, disappearing into parts unknown in a hyperspace jump that pulled Ezra and Grand Admiral Thrawn into deep space.

    Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios

Meet the muscle of the Ghost team. Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios was a cunning Lasat honor guard who adopted the cause of rebellion against the Empire. Despite his hulking frame, Zeb was actually highly-educated and articulate. Still, he loved beating up stormtroopers, who he nicknamed “bucket heads.”

    Kanan Jarrus / Caleb Dume

Not every Jedi perished in Order 66. Once known by the name Caleb Dume, Kanan Jarrus survived the Emperor’s purge, going underground for years and hiding the truth about who he really was. To keep his past a secret, Kanan carried a blaster -- an uncommon practice for a Jedi -- and used a lightsaber that had to be assembled. In the years leading up to the galactic civil war, he was a leader among the Ghost crew, a small group of rebels looking to strike back against the Empire, and with the emergence of the Force-sensitive Ezra, once again embraced his identity as a Jedi Knight.

    Seventh Sister Inquisitor

Quick, agile, and deadly, the Seventh Sister Inquisitor was strong with the dark side and one of the Empire’s elite Jedi hunters — and was dispatched by Darth Vader to find Ahsoka Tano and her rebel friends. She often employed the use of ID9 seeker droids on her missions, and carried the same model double-bladed lightsaber wielded by the Grand Inquisitor. A green-skinned Mirialan, the Seventh Sister’s past — and how she came to enter the Inquisitorius — remains a mystery.
